5k and 1 mile

September 1- September 30-$35

October 1- October 18- $40

October 19 (packet pickup) & 20 (race day)- $45

Breast Cancer Survivor 5k or 1 mile - $15

Finisher Medals

All 5k and 1 mile registered racers will receive a finisher medal

5k is timed. 1 mile is untimed

Age Group awards will be in 5k only

1st-3rd Overall Male AND 1st-3rd Overall Female

1st-3rd male and female in 5 year age groups- 12&under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

Weekend Schedule

Packet Pickup and late registration- Saturday, Oct 19, 1-4 PM at MSSU End Zone Building (by football stadium)

Race Day Packet Pickup and Late Registration- Sunday Oct 20, 1:30-3:00 PM

Survivor Ceremony -2:40 PM

5k start 3:00 PM

1 mile start 3:05 PM

Awards 4:15 PM

FAQ

1. Are strollers allowed on course?

   Yes! Please feel free to take your little one/s along for the run. Please line up at the back

2. Is this a pet friendly event?

    Absolutely! Well-behaved, leashed dogs are allowed on the race course. Please line up at the back

3. Where should I park?

     Main Street from 2nd to 4th will be closed to traffic. Parking is available on any city streets where parking is allowed. Joplin City public Lots on 5th and Joplin. Lot on Joplin and 3rd behind the old library.

4.  Can I walk the race?

     Of course! This is a family oriented event with a great mix of walkers and runners. You can walk the 5k or of course the 1 mile

5.   Will the race be cancelled if the weather is bad?

       We will run rain or shine, wet or dry! Only in the event of severe weather including lightning will we postpone the start until the weather has passed.
